10.28 Weekly Update

In class access reminder: I wanted to remind everyone that ALL students have access to everything we do in both classes.  I have shared a science and social studies folder with each student where they can find the lessons presented in class each day.  If they forget what we did, or missed class, please encourage them to visit this resource to help them.  Depending on the day, there may be pictures, video links or other resources they can use to help them prepare for quizzes and tests.   Homework reminders: Homework is in full swing for all science and social studies classes.  Here is what you should see your student completing: 6th Grade (science and social studies): Daily reflection written each day for each class. (Found in Google Classroom) -Minimum of five sentences about what they learned/did in class.  Due each Monday by 8:55 am; however, students can turn it in as soon as they are finished.  The more specific students are, the more it will review the conce

Happy Monday Everyone! Happy Sunday to all! It always brings a smile to my face to see the excitement of little children during mass.  This morning I was next to a family with multiple small children.   To watch them smile, laugh and want to go to the front of church for Eucharist because "everyone is lining up already" is just a joy to experience. We are all so fortunate that the Lord has blessed us with these joys with our own children.   Here is a quick update of what is happening this week: No science or social studies quizzes/tests for any grade level this week.  However, I see Mr. Miller has something for Algebra I, so take a look 8th grade students and parents. Last week was such a busy week with so many wonderful opportunities:  8th Grade NYC trip, saying the Rosary as a school, and finally the Race for Education and other fun activities on Friday.
