Resources to help you this year:

National History Day

This is the website for official information regarding the National History Day project you will be working on this year.  Here is this year's theme from the website: The 2019-2020 theme is Breaking Barriers in History

Minnesota National Historical Society

This website is another resource to help you with your National History Day project.  They have a lot of success in winning, so you may want to take a look.

Quizlet

This is a helpful tool to create your own vocabulary reviews in order to help you remember the content that has been learned in class.  Not only is it great to learn the vocabulary, but it is also important to know how to apply our terms to real world examples.

Crash Course

A set of videos on different topics providing review and visuals (sometimes quite funny) to help further your understanding of what is being taught in class.

Khan Academy

Surprise!  They aren't just for math and science.  Look here for short videos on key time periods for the development of U.S. History.

Library of Congress
"News, events, new content & more from the National Library of Congress & specific subject areas - from legislature to poetry, from music to science, from cataloging to copyright."-weareteachers.com

National Archives

This will be a useful site for working with sources for the NHD project.

Digital History

A resource filled with information on U.S. History.  You can find timelines, primary sources and general U.S. History information.

National Constitution Center

Looking for the Constitution in a broken down (chunked) format, well, here is a useful place to look.
