9.15 Weekly Update




Please visit the high school open house post if you haven't already done so.  Having gone through this process twice over the last two years, I would highly suggest 7th and 8th grade families attend the open houses for the schools your child/children are interested in attending.  With my son, a junior at Archbishop Curley, I started attending the open houses his 6th grade year.  I wanted to understand the process before officially having him consider schools his 7th grade year.  Find a friend and buddy up for these events.

Meet the Team Night 9/18 7:00 - 8:30 pm
Begins in the church, then on to classrooms
Middle School teachers will be available to say hello, but no formal presentation will be given.

Quizzes for the next two weeks (specific topics are posted the weekend prior):

6th Grade:

Science Quiz 9/17:  Elements, Compounds and Mixtures (I just realized I don't see 6th on Tuesday, so we will move this to 9/18.)
Social Studies Quiz 9/24

7th Grade:

Science Quiz 9/19:  Parts of a Microscope, Abiotic and Biotic Factors
Social Studies Quiz 9/24

8th Grade:

Science Quiz 9/25
Social Studies Unit 1 Test 9/30
