1.5 Weekly Update


It was wonderful seeing everyone this week and hearing about all of their positive experiences over the break.

Other than 6th grade math (Mr. Miller), I am the only one that has quizzes scheduled so far.  Here they are as of today's date:

Upcoming Quizzes:
6th Grade:
Science:  Wednesday, January 8th - Spheres of the earth and the water cycle
SS:  Thursday, January 16th - Geography and social systems of India

7th Grade:
SS:  Monday, January 13th - Introduction to Political systems, we will review what they learned before break Monday - Wednesday **Changed due to early dismissal and 2-hour delay**

8th Grade:
Science:  Tuesday, January 7th - Forces (balanced vs. unbalanced), (contact, vs. non-contact), force diagrams, speed, velocity and acceleration

SS:  Monday, January 13th- George Washington information learned prior to break, we will review what they learned before break Monday - Wednesday **Changed due to early dismissal and 2-hour delay**

This is all that is planned as of right now.

Homework:
Will resume as normal this week.  Last week, students were given the remaining article dates for science and social studies for the rest of the year.

Reminder, student must write five (5) sentences to earn their point each day for their daily reflections.
